BeerPier policy

A practical waterfront guide—with one beer stop in its proper place.

How BeerPier builds practical waterfront travel guides with vacation first, beer second.

Effective: July 23, 2026

What BeerPier is

BeerPier publishes desk-researched guides for waterfront getaways that can include one worthwhile beer experience without making alcohol the purpose of the trip. The useful trip comes first: water, lodging, food, family and non-beer activities, season, and a planned return.

What our guides can—and cannot—tell you

We compare publicly available information and explain practical geography. We do not claim first-hand inspection, certification, real-time monitoring or local endorsement. A guide is a planning aid, not a guarantee that a venue, route, service, hotel, event or condition will remain unchanged.

Confirm the details that matter before booking or traveling, especially hours, age and family rules, accessibility, reservations, transit, weather, route conditions and venue status.

Editorial approach

We aim for restrained, specific answers. We distinguish a genuine walk from a trip that needs transit or a short ride. We do not publish paid rankings or sell favorable editorial placement. Future affiliate links may earn a commission, but compensation does not convert a merchant into our editorial supervisor.

Responsibility

Beer is optional. BeerPier is for adults of legal drinking age, and our trip plans require a sober, lawful return arranged before drinking begins. Read Responsible travel.
